PhD Student
Clara Mocchetti obtained her master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology (107/110) at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Novara in July 2023, under the supervision of Professor Tracey Pirali, Doctor Giuliana Mion and Doctor Gianluca Papeo, with an experimental thesis entitled “Macrocycle reactions in batch and flow: a comparative study”, which was developed at Nerviano Medical Science’s laboratories.
From September 2023 to July 2024, she worked for Fidia Farmaceutici SpA on “HAntiox” project funded by PR Veneto FESR 2021-2027, which was developed in close collaboration with the University of Milan, specifically alongside Professor Clelia Dallanoce and Professor Giancarlo Aldini. During these months, she synthetized and characterized new compounds with antioxidant and antinflammatory properties ameanable for the treatment of Lohn desease.
In November 2024 she joined the industrial PhD course in “Pharceutical Sciences”, in collaboration with Fidia Farmaceutici SpA, under the supervision of Professor Dallanoce, Doctor Devis Galesso and Matteo Soato. Her work will be focused on “Deepening Insights into Bioactive Molecules for Antioxidant and Anti-inflammatory Applications”.
